Well, It's Official!

We're parents! Because we bought a MINIVAN today! With more repairs looming around the corner for our little Ford Focus and with Philippe and Patricia coming home...someday...we decided it was time for a trade and upgrade. It is a 2009 Volkswagen Routan, with only 9,000 miles. Isn't it just BEAU-TEE-FUL?We love it!

It's a great riding mini-van--or as the Germans say it: Grossraumlimousine.

Ours is the Routan SEL in Atlantis Blue. EPA rates it 17/25. EPA's combined fuel economy is 20; the highest of all mini-vans available in America.

Have you found the umbrella tray yet?

Congrats! Oh, you may never go back to driving a car. Just so you know. I had dreams of owning a convertible sports car, now I could not picture myself in anything but my old, beloved Mama Mobile minivan!
