Please pray...

...for our dear friends, the Flynns. They started the adoption process for this special boy, Jed, in October of 2007 and he was due to come home anytime now. God called him home to heaven instead.

The family is devastated as are all who cared for Jed at his orphanage. The Flynns are an amazing family whom we met on online through our Haiti agency, and we stayed with them last year and were instant friends family. We love them so much and ache for them as we know the pain of a long wait, as well as the emotional, physical and financial toll of international adoption, although we can't imagine a loss such as this. Please cover this family in your prayers as they longed to hold him and now will never have that chance. Jeddy was born without legs, and one comfort to the Flynns right now is that he is running and dancing with the angels in heaven.

I'm so sad to read about this. I will definitely visit their site this evening and read about their beautiful son. Thank you for sharing this story, Dawn.

I just found your blog through MN Red Thread and wanted to say hello. We will certainly be praying for this family and that God will fill the whole in their hearts with his grace and love. What a handsome little boy!

Congrats on the referral of your daughter...she is beautiful! It's so exciting to meet other local families adopting from China, too! May God bless you on your journey to bring your daughter home. Looks like you had a fun shower!!

Blessings,
~Tanya

I love you for this. Sorry it took so long for me to tell you that. Thank you for understanding, praying for us and for being wonderful/fast family =).. It is still so painful to think about Jeddy, but I burn more for the children who aren't in God's arms and are stuck in awful situations here on Earth. Keep the faith, P and P will be home in your loving arms. Love you. xo
