Let's just say that I'm glad I won't be driving while we're in China.
A hilariously detailed description of the infamous Beijing left turn can be found here. The traffic is probably best described as synchronized insanity. The reason? Perhaps it's because the Chinese are never in any hurry to get anywhere.

Oh my... with the title I thought you were in Beijing... you had me there :)
Thanks for sharing this, it brought back great memories of our China trip 2 years ago. I had to leave the right before the Great Wall and go back to the hotel becuase I was sick and our guide hired a car to get me home. The 1 hour drive took about 35 mins. LOL.
