The girls take the stage for the first time

Patrice and Olivia made their debut tonight at our school's variety show. Olivia was having so much fun she didn't want to leave the stage.

Upcoming Event (and a Shameless Plug)

I grew up in Dassel, MN, and graduated from Dassel-Cokato High School. Next Sunday, October 12, will be a sort of homecoming for me. Dawn and I were invited to sing at a fundraising event for the Dassel-Cokato Arts Association, a venue that has featured performances from the likes of Lorie Line, Gaelic Storm, and the Minnesota Orchestra.

All the performers at this event have D-C connections, so it should be fun. You can read all about it here.

This is also a good time to plug Dawn's CD. You have probably noticed from the sidebar that it's available for downloading, but we still have a stash of CDs that we need to get rid of to make room for the kids, so feel free to order one or two (or six or seven, you know, for Christmas presents). Keep in mind that all proceeds will go toward bringing our precious children home.

A Not-So-Shameless Plug

I am blessed to have married into a very musical family, and my lovely wife, Dawn, happens to be a wonderful singer. With that, I would like to invite you to check out her debut CD, Because I Love You.
