Anyway, it is SO fun to get updates about their lives while they're away from us. Still waiting on that smile from Philippe, but we had to wait about two months before we saw one on Patricia! Also, his name isn't spelled correctly on there. We have a copy of his birth certificate, so that's how we know! :) Notice that he is missing a tooth! Poor baby doesn't look very happy here! He is adjusting to life at the orphanage, though. We don't have a March update for him because he hasn't been there very long.
We hope to get more pictures soon!

Beautiful! It's fun to read about our newest grandkids.
Oh, I love that march one of Patricia... what a SWEETIE!!
Patricia gets more beautiful all the time. Growing up too fast. Frednise's (Kayla) name is spelled with an "e" in place of the "i" about half the time. Oh well. It's nice just to get the pictures.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your nice comments. Your soon to be adopted kids from Haiti are beautiful! Any news when you can bring them home?
Wow! How exciting for your family...Patricia and Phillipe are just beautiful!
I will be back to see the progress on your adoptions!
Amazing! What a treat. They're adorable.
wow!!! can't wait till those kiddos come home!!!
Oh, my goodness, they are so beautiful!! My updates got lost in the email too, but when I got them I was SO thrilled! Praying that Philippe's smile is just around the corner! I think that Patricia's smile definitely shows that she knows she has a family waiting...
These kids are beautiful. I'm waiting for Phillipe's smile, too. Any plans to go meet them both in person?
They used to have parents come down and spend about a week at the crèche before the adoption was finalized, but that policy was changed earlier this year. Their reasoning was that it was difficult for both the parents and the children. (I believe they have had couples back out of the process after visiting.) Now, they are just having parents come down when the kids are ready to leave.
It would be nice to see them in person. In the meantime, we have sent each of them a letter explaining who we are and where they will be living. We included pictures of us, our house, pets, etc., and put the pages in three-ring binders. The plan is to send updates periodically on pages that they can just add to the binders.
Beautiful children!
